According to Miles College Defensive Coordinator, Coach Charles Huff, "Steven is very coachable. He is working his way up the depth chart. He is 3rd string as of now. I am expecting good things. Steven hustles and is one year away from being a starter." Steven is also working in the classroom to be a success. Assistant Coach Billy Culver stated, "Steven is diligent when it comes to study hall, he is always the first player to arrive for each study session.
